The Park is situated on a sandstone plateau,
mostly covered by mixed dipterocarp forest which interspersed with patches of scrub and unusually rich area of Kerangas forest. This is the home of mammals, birds & many species of reptiles and amphibians.
There are more than 61 species of frogs that are recorded in the Park, which is 1/3 of the total species of frog in Borneo Island. Species like Lowland litter frog, Bornean horned frog, Matang Narrow-mouthed frog, Kuhl’s, creek frog, Giant river frog, Peat swamp frog, Mahogany frog, Spotted stream frog, File-eared tree frog, Dark-eared tree frog, Harlequin tree frog & etc are commonly found in the Park.
After tour, tourist will be transferred back to the hotel.
Blue Pool, Santubong, is an enchanted transparent water pool located roughly 40km away from the city.
The trailhead of Blue Pool is placed at Permai Rainforest Resort. The trail is an easy walk for the first 15 minutes. The challenge begins once you step foot into the woods. The journey to Blue Pool will take roughly 2 hours.
The Blue Pool is made up of a small circle of water – around the size of a pond,
The return trek will take about another two hours more. Packed lunch provided.
0800hrs – Pick up from city centre and depart for Bengoh Hiking Trip.
It’s about 1 ½ hour road journey to Bengoh Dam. Take the opportunity for your Instagrammable photos here.
You’ll be chauffeured by boat across the dam where the hike under the lushes of the rainforest starts. You’ll walk across a few traditional beautiful bamboo bridges to Pe’an and Susung waterfall.

1330hrs – Pack up and return by boat to the jetty where we will be transferred back by land and by
1500hrs, we will be arriving Kuching city.
